No adults are always free, but we do ask that adults not sit or play on the equipment themselves.
Do I have to pay for my baby?
We have toys and equipment for kids aged 6 months and up, so we ask that you pay for all children starting at 6 months.
Do I have to pay for my teenager?
Yes, we find that teenagers have just as much fun as younger kids, so we ask that all children aged 6 months through 18 pay for entry.
Do I need a reservation?
No, reservations are not needed for open play, which is always available during our regular business hours.
Can I drop my child off to play?
No, our facility is not a drop off location we ask that a responsible adult accompany and assist children while at our facility.
Is there a time limit?
No, you are welcome to stay as long as you like. We find most children stay one to two hours, but you are welcome to stay longer.
Can I come back on the same day?
We have a $1 re-entry fee for same day re-entry.

Birthday Parties
How early can we set up for our party?
You are welcome to arrive 15 minutes prior to you scheduled start time to set up for your party.
How long can we stay after our party to clean up?
We ask that all items are removed by the scheduled end time of your party. Our staff will clean the room for the next party; please take all your belongings when your time slot ends.
Can we stay after our party to play?
No, we ask that you and your guests conclude play at the end of your scheduled time. To keep our facility as sensory friendly as possible we only book one group in the facility at a time.
Does the guest count include adults?
No, we do not charge for adults, so the guest count only includes children (we count all children between the ages of 6 months and 18). However, please keep in mind we have very limited seating for adults and the chairs in the party room need to remain in the party room area.
What is your guest capacity for parties?
For our basic and hosed parties, we ask that parties do not exceed 25 children, the first 10 are included in the base price with an additional $5 per child after 10. If your guest count goes over 20, we recommend you consider our private option. For our private option we do not limit the number of guests.
For your private parties do I pay extra for additional kids?
No, we do not charge extra for additional kids during our private parties you get full use of the facility for as many guests as you would like to invite.
Can I schedule a private party during regular business hours?
No, we only offer private parties when we are not open to the public.
Can we play music during our party?
Not during our basic or hosted parties as we try to minimize additional noise for our other guests. If you book a private party, then you are welcome to play music.
Family Direct Funds
Does my child have to participate in Occupational Therapy to use our funds with you?
Yes, Health and Welfare currently requires that your child is participating in OT so that your therapist can make recommendations as to the activities to work on with your child while visiting The Sensory Playce.
Can I purchase membership using our funds?
No, memberships are specifically excluded from Family Direct, however, they cover sessions. Each session is equivalent to our one-time entry rate. There is no limit to the number of sessions you can request.
Why do you need my plan dates and how do I find out the dates?
Once the sessions are approved, we will need to send you quarterly invoices with dates to submit for payment. The dates included on the invoices must match to your plan dates thus we ask that you provide the dates initially so that we can bill correctly.
Can I start using sessions as soon as they are approved?
No, we require that we have received payment prior to using sessions.
